Educational performance or trash odyssey for children aged 5 and older.
One morning Battery, that was lying in a landfill, understood that this is not a place for her – she still has lots of unused energy and can do many interesting things. So, without thinking too long, she decided to embark on an incredible, adventurous and dangerous journey to a colourful world of trash and humans. However, Battery can’t do it alone, she needs whole different team of trash, including a Bag, a Journal, a Jar and a Lemon. In the performance “ORE! (Operation Recycled Me!) determinate team of trash sets out to find their destiny. It’s to be seen what kind of adventures they’ll experience and what waits at the end to their journey.
Actors from Klaipėda Youth Theatre seeks not only to introduce playful characters to the audience but also raise awareness about the topics of ecology and recycling. Is it everything, that we throw ways has no value whatsoever? Do we dispose it at the right places? Do we know the impact of simple trash to the environment and for us? Authors of the performance, together with audience, will try to find answers to these and many other questions. Playful theatrical and musical form of the performance is the way to do it, while cheerful trash characters are our companions in this operation.
