TWO KOREAS

Performance “Two Koreas” (adaptation of Joel Pommerat play „La Reunification des deux Corees“) is an absurd drama with motifs of cabaret. Short stories, related to one word that consists of five letters, are being told here. There are many artworks and thousand explanations about this word, but it’s still very hard to pronounce it. In a timeless space characters of the performance experience absurd and tragic forms of love, that forms close ties with our everyday experiences. It’s a mixture of musical compositions, songs, confessions, absurd and romance, that shines like exploding firework and melts like scorching gold. It’s an invitation to a blind date and the wedding of ex-lover, because “when God created love, it didn’t help to the majority”, says Bukowski. That’s right. It didn’t.
